Transportation
Located on Interstate 35 and just minutes from several other major roadways, Haysville is an ideal location for manufacturers or distributors. Haysville provides access to Wichita through Interstates 135 and 235, to north and east Kansas through the Kansas Turnpike and to southern Kansas through Highway 81.
Kansas is within two days of LTL shipping to 90% of the United States and three days to almost anywhere in Southern Canada and Northern Mexico.
Wichita is a major trucking hub due to its high concentration of manufacturing and role as a regional marketing center. Sixteen national and regional interstate common carriers have local terminal facilities. Due to Wichita’s proximity to major markets and multitude of carriers, transit time and shipping rates are very competitive. Kansas motor carrier regulations mirror most federal guidelines.

Haysville School District USD-261 combines the personalized spirit of a small town with top-notch staff, curriculum and facilities. In 2005, a $49 million school bond improvement program was approved by the residents of the school district. The district has been making improvements and additions to all five existing elementary schools. The schools have been completed and Prairie Elementary is now open and in use. The community high school will receive a major upgrade in its existing facilities and add additional classroom space. For additional information, please contact
